Phlomis russeliana

What a day! It was so cold this morning, and very windy. The outside thermometer registered 10'C. Went off to do my shopping before 9am, then had my breakfast, as there was rain forecast. The Met Office page for this area showed it to be quite heavy, well it wasn't in my garden!
When I went out this afternoon to take this image it didn't  look as if there had been any rain.

This plant I bought at an Open Garden event some years ago. I posted and image of the seed heads on 19th Jan this year. It is also known as Turkish sage. I think the flowers are amazing.

A lazy day really , I blame the weather! hope your weekend is going well :-)
