Lovely day,

lovely walk! Up through the Woodpecker and Tits zone, passing pollen tide lines, to the moorland homes of Lapwings and Curlew. The inevitable Cuckoos still calling and making misery for the Pipits. A Roe buck leapt away from me, barking.
The wild Geraniums make a lovely splash of purple and still lots of Bugle, Stitchwort and Water Avens.
