Flaming June

A day of typical June weather.  Rain, hailstones, thunder, lightning, gales; you know the sort of thing.  We didn't venture out for a walk as it was so miserable, so this was taken straight out of the back door during one of the downpours.

We took the opportunity this afternoon to watch the film 'Darkest Hour' about Winston Churchill in the early years of the war up to Dunkirk; what a superb film!

(Everything isn't really at a strange angle in my garden; the lens seems to have distorted things a bit!)
