The Skeleton Tree

It's been a horrible day, very cold, blowing a hoolie and always on the verge of rain without actually breaking into it. We've stayed indoors mostly and got on with things here.

I don't think I've blipped this tree before although I have photographed it several times. I've never been satisfied with the images. Yesterday I noticed a more satisfactory angle as I cycled past, so today I nipped out to try it.

I usually like to get trees clear of the background trees but that wasn't possible here. Still, I think it works quite well, especially with those grasses blowing around in front.
