Walk with Mum

Had a lovely social distancing catch up with mum (Wendles56, but you all knew that) on the moor today. We were so busy catching up and generally having a lovely time that I completely forgot to rope her into a summer project, but have since got her on board via text.  I'm hoping our entry for the village scarecrow festival this year will be epic.

Other then a lovely catch up with mum I've been feeling a bit emotional today.  This morning it was cutting onions for lunch whilst listening to Shephard (today's soundtrack) which gets me every time.  This evening it was falling for that old British Comedy trick.  You find something that's hilarious and fun and well written and you're really enjoying it and laughing loads then it ends tragically and you're trying to not cry into your fajita.  Damn you Man Like Mobeen.  (Though it was worth it for the hospital episode alone)
