Thorn Bird

I took Ollie dog for a proper nice long walk at Fishers Green today. She loved it. She really enjoyed sniffing the scents and meeting the dogs and their owners. Young children really warm to her and she's so gentle with them. It was lovely to see all the young birds. 

After our walk we sat on the pile of logs in the carpark waiting for the whitethroat. It didn't disappoint. My title got me thinking of The Thorn Birds featuring Richard Chamberlain. He was a bit of a teen idol in Dr Kildare. I was surprised to learn that he came out as gay in 2003.
