Runaways

Yes, it’s true. There were six of them. I first spotted them from my kitchen window. By the time I had my phone and made it to the road, there were neighbors out in force, trying to corral the poor animals to keep them safe. They spent some time in the property across the street and everyone headed that way to collect them. Of course it didn’t work. I took over traffic control because the speeding 60 mph drivers had no clue what was ahead and there was no stopping the horses’ escape. As far as I know, they are on their way to Alabama.
