My tree

I have regularly checked in on this tree for 5 years. It struggles because it is shaded by its bigger competitors, but it never gives up.
It gets a tiny bit bigger each year, but it is still only 3 ft tall. I admire its optimism and take a strange comfort in its success in the face of adversity.
