Mother of Pearl Clouds *backblip*
To finish my back blipping story of this weekend in December, we drove up from Glasgow first thing this morning in time to join our church friends for advent lunch at the hotel opposite our house. We missed the church service but made it back to town in time for the starter of my third big meal in so many days. I have to say though, while the meal at the KA was tastier than the one at the Hopeville on Friday night, it was in no way on the same level as the meal at the Strathaven Hotel yesterday. Still, no reason to complain I guess!
The boys joined their pals at the nearby table building lego models and doing what 5,6,7 and 8 year old boys do. My lovely husband and I had a good old chat about nothing in particular with the friends at our table.
Back home in the afternoon, it was a fairly quiet affair, reading and playing beside the warmth of the stove. As the light faded outside we noticed these most incredible clouds in the sky above our neighbours house. I took a few photos but was fairly disappointed by how they turned out since they only captured half of the beauty in the sky. However I was kind of pleased to note later in the week that lots of folks had noticed this incredible sight in the skies of north east Scotland and sent in photos to the BBC Scotland website and mine was just as good as any other.
