Yes, I know they are upside down!

This is a monumental brass of 1505 to John Compton and and his wife, which is in St George's Church in Beckington. Another, older brass was stolen from the church in 2002, so the area where this brass is set is cordened off and alarmed.

This was the only possible angle for taking a photograph and although I know how to rotate a photo, it looked horribly distorted and I couldn't seem to put it right!

So why is this my blip today? Because I loved the reflections from the stained glass window on the brass!
