Gently down the stream

Delapidated

I live very near some allotments (for those who don't know the UK, land broken into plots for people to grow their own veg).  The plots themselves are mostly beautifully looked after, but the sheds - which seem to be their owners' pride and joy - are more warped, crazy and falling apart than you'd believe possible.

This one is rather larger and more glamorous than most, with its little glazed porch, even if the woodwork tells you all you need to know about the quality of construction.  And early morning when I go past with my camera the front is filled with new sunlight.

So here we are.  Hopefully it will qualify for Marlieske's DerelictSunday, even if, in truth, it is better described as delapidated that derelict.  Thanks so much for hosting, Marlieske ;)

We had little early rain and a very beautiful morning, which hasn't really lasted, and I've had a super busy writing day, but it's been good.  Plus I've just tried my hand at making gluten free pastry.  Interested to see how that will turn out.

Thanks so much for all your comments, stars and hearts on yesterday's heron.  Really lovely of you!  And have a good evening  xx

PS: just a reminder to those of you who are thinking of a WildFlowerWeek entry in the next few days, WFW20_10 finished at midnight last night.  We are now on to WFW20_11
