Landing Stage - for birds?
A dull but dry day
We had our Worship at Home Service this morning. It had a good feeling of being together, especially as my wife and I had filmed the Communion Service, following my Sermon.
After lunch I printed off a week’s supply of my Daily Encouragement emails and took them to one of our Congregation who doesn’t have internet access. A good chat with him and then I went to Clatto Wood for a 2.1 mile walk round the Reservoir.
I saw this Landing Stage covered in birds or ducks - I guess it beats sitting on cold water.
There has been talk this weekend of churches in England allowed to open for Private Prayer. The impression being given of people being desperate to pray. As far as I am concerned, I have been praying at home all the time.
I am looking forward to churches being opened, at the right time, but for gathering together for corporate worship and fellowship. In the meantime, our church has been open for Foodbank and other ways we are serving the community.
