Day 85: Phasing Out

As we prepare to enter the last phase of lockdown, with inter-provincial travel being allowed as of tomorrow, we discovered this morning that dogs are no longer welcome at Juan's chiringuito - not even outside on the deck area.

This dreadful revelation means that Breakfast Club will no longer be able to convene there, as the whole point is that we arrive for a coffee after walking our respective muttlies along the beach track.

Maybe we will find somewhere else, but it marks the end of an era.

In more positive news, my mechanic and bodywork man Joe announced that after 5 1/2 years of my car sitting in a corner of his workshop gathering dust, he is beginning the restoration of my beloved Jaguar XJS in earnest.

Still, as he said, I've had free parking for a long time.
