A day of 2 halves

Yesterday evenings weather resulted in a couple of large chunks of willow tree branches splitting so this morning they needed making safe (see extra). Completed just in time for a visit from my parents for outside tea and cake. Hot in the sun with a chill in the breeze.

After a bit of gardening I thought I'd have a drive out in spitty this afternoon, the weather had other ideas so no chance of that!
