From the ashes...

A 2-hour family zoom call this morning where 1 of those hours was spent trying to get my aunt and uncle online ;)

Amazingly, despite all the cock ups yesterday, the soap has come out really well - not the colour/pattern I’d planned but that couldn’t be helped. It’s smells amazing and there’s a slight pattern too. Very happy with that. So happy I then went and made myself some solid perfume (patchouli, vanilla, oud, sandalwood and rose absolute.

I also finally finished Wolf Hall, it’s been sitting in a book pile for a good 10 years or so. Wasn’t a massive fan of the way it was written but at least it’s done now.
