The constant battle

Not just online, with his mates. That's the fun part. 
No, the toughest struggle is with his mum, who relentlessly battles to limit his Xbox time to what a mother deems to be appropriate. 

I am the weakest link in that war. 

He is so obviously loving his time on line with his mates that I tend to turn a blind eye. As long as he gets some physical exercise into his day as well.
It's the turning a deaf ear that's not possible. The count down to switch off starts when the swearing kicks off.
