Inky Abstract

It is June 7th.  Summertime.  Normally, that means warm temperatures, gentle breezes and cool lemonade. 

Today, we had strong winds and, you guessed it, snow!  And tonight the weather service has issued a freeze warning.  So I hurriedly covered my young tomato and herb plants with plastic bags, and hope that they will survive.  

Inside again, it was time to clean some fountain pens.  That gave me the idea to play with ink in water.    I purposely chose a glass that had a bit of character to it and that wasn't perfectly clear.  I want to have some imperfections in the reflections.  Well, it is a work in progress.
