Heading Home.....!!!

Some evenings we go for a late walk and this evening we decided to walk around the smaller lake close to us...but when we reached the main road at the hospital gate what should we see but Mr. & Mrs Swan and Family heading home for the night....they had obviously spent the day over at the bigger lake...
I had taken a picture if them laying in the grass on the other side when Daddy swan headed for the road all they all followed...I was able to flag down two cars who stopped immediately and swan family safely crossed the road..
I’ve seen the ducks do this but never the swans..
