Impromptu walk.

There is a “window in the weather” as they say today.
As a result we decided immediately after breakfast to go on one of our circular walks.
It was so good once again to be outdoors under open wide skies, along the field paths.
4.66 miles altogether from leaving the house till our return.
This afternoon we will have the pleasure of seeing Blipper Rainette, (as long as this lull in the weather remains today.)
I am very much looking forward to it!
I will now go and get the chair cushions to put on the patio seats.
We have a side gate for access, so it’s not a problem with the present social distancing rules/regulations/guidelines!
A lot of catching up to come, in person this time. Excellent!
Since I wrote and posted the first bit I’ve written a PS.
She made it this afternoon with a bottle for us of homemade Elder flower cordial and some homemade Madeleines. Lovely to be able to spend some time together. Photo in extras.
