Game bird

There is quite a colony of pheasants living down the garden, have been trying to take a close up of the male with the brightly coloured feathers for a while, but they skeedaddle as soon as the camera comes out, this one is a bit shady but the best I can do.
Also a pair of partridges moved in recently. No pear tree for them though.
