Wild roses

I wish blip had  a 'smell' button!  These wild roses have the most amazing scent.  They are also incredibly prickly, so in order to smell them, you have to approach them carefully!

Such a cold morning. I set off with my jacket and hat on, but wished I'd taken my gloves too. Taking into account the wind chill, it was 4.4°C!  Thankfully it warmed up a bit in the afternoon and the spiced ham and lentil soup I made for lunch helped too!
