Cottonstones.
Today started with this conversation with a child at school:
"Miss, what day is it?"
"It's Monday, did you have a lovely weekend?"
"Yeh it was alright. Miss is there still a corona virus? Cos Mum said I could go round my friend's to play his X Box on Friday maybe"
"Yes it's still around and we can only meet people outside. You can have 6 people but with a big 2 metre gap between them"
Silence.
"Maybe I'll ask if we can do X Box outside"
A lovely alternative stroll after school around the beautiful hamlets of Cottonstones and Mill Bank. It's so beautiful around there! I walked past The Alma Inn, which looked ready for business should it be deemed pubs can serve outside before 'properly' reopening. They had a make shift bar with three beer pumps good to go!
