Keep Your Distance.

 M busy in the garden this morning. Me busy on the laptop editing and deleting photos.

 A cooler day but warm enough to walk up to the park. Busy again, lots of people with children so not many seemed to have gone back although on our way home I did see a few children wearing school uniform so some have gone back

We took our time and had a sit in the sun on the hilltop before working our way back home.  Blip is a photo I took near where we come in, walking round the back.of the lake which is not as formal. There seems to be a lot more ducks and geese this year.
We left the path to avoid the Canadian geese with their gosling. I remember seeing them when they were just hatched. 
The adults aren't agrressive but one made hissing sounds and bobbed his head as if to say Keep back.. I vaguely remember being told there weren't many about many years ago.. There s certainly plenty of them.in the UK now.

Across from the park is Furness Academy where they had set up a Nightingale Ward for people ...a Covid recovery ward. I'm.glad  to  see it was never needed and they are now dismantling it. I'm not so sure about the other news today that some hotels in the Lakes are reopening. It seems too early athough I can understand why hotels want to reopen.
