To your left Rome, to your right Scotland. This was it the Northern most limit of the Roman Empire, they did have dalliances further north but this was where they drew their line in the sand so to speak, the Antonine Wall. I always find it strange when I look at this famous border. Borders are fought over, discussed, subject to treaty but generally when you see them close up they are truly unexceptional.

Headed up to Roughmute Castle Roman fort near the Falkirk wheel with the boys and their mate. They ran off heaps of energy and I took loads of shots. Was great just being outside and finding interesting stuff to shoot.

Dawn out to see Les Mis, so I'll get the weans in bed and slap a DVD on. Beer will be drunk!!
