Pruning time?

Isn't it odd; you bump into it - NO trouble, look for it, impossibly hidden.  
I'm fairly sure I read/heard somewhere that Aponogeton was a bit of a rampant weed if it escaped from captivity; can I hellaslike find it when I look.

On the left - what the majority of the water surface looks like, or more so.
In the centre - what I tore out.
On the right - the "space" left.
You'll, eventually, get to see why.

BTW - PLENTY to spare if anybody wants some.
