Wych Elm no more

one of the oldest elms in Edinburgh, a branch broke off in the storms a few weeks ago and they found white rot so have now arranged to fell it. Today was the first go but they’ll be back tomorrow for the rest, it’s a big tree...shame, some locals have suggested a monument for the tree which seems OTT TBH
