Crossing the boundary

I put my drone up at Shaldon in Devon today.
It didn’t seem at all breezy - but then I got a ‘high wind warning - unable to return to home. Return to home manually.’
So, naturally, I panicked and lost sight of the drone and then the screen went dead so I panicked a bit more, waving the transmitter around, thinking it was probably in the sea by now. After ten minutes I gave up and walked along the beach and suddenly the screen came alive and I was looking at undergrowth. It was alive! It took me a further 20 minutes to locate it on the edge of a cliff. Luckily rescueable by jumping over a wire fence to keep people falling off the cliff.
