Calm before the storm

The only pic I took today, on a late afternoon run along the river bank. I thought the new reeds were lovely and a nice blipfoto. Then home, shower, tea and sat down to watch Sitting in Limbo. Within half an hour I was crying and feeling so ashamed to be British, all over again having followed the Windrush scandal closely. I nearly didn’t post this photo, the contrast feels so wrong, but then today I though that contrast is part of the issue really.
