Garden Bridge

Anyone for a picnic?  This little island with its picnic table is in a lake about half-way round the 10 km circular walk we did today. The picnic table doesn't get a lot of use...
10 years ago you could just make it to the island without getting wet feet but every year the "bridge" sinks a little further into the peat.
We actually sat on a tree stump and ate our picnic as we looked at this table.
I love the way the "bridge" is now filled with grass and flowers. Now that's what I call a garden bridge.
