Just time for a quick walk by the river to see this lovely mallard.

I have spent most of the last 3 days stripping wallpaper in my bedroom.  When we moved in we just slapped a coat of paint on it until we could get around to doing it properly. Its woodchip and I am guessing that it was put up when the house was remodelled 40 years ago. I knew woodchip was a nightmare to remove but this is proving ridiculous. I have spent 15 hrs so far chipping away at it and I reckon there is still about 2hrs to go.
I havent really decided what to do with it next. Id like to just paint the walls but I'm not sure they are good enough. It may be that we have to put up some sort of paper before painting. We could be at this for weeks!

Got an email today from 'the powers that be'. It seems they are reopening 9 out of 450 shops in 2 weeks time and will see how that goes before opening up anymore. I still dont see us opening before August though.
