A reality hit

I am generally someone who doesn't take things for granted and appreciates life's fortunes. At the moment, I am in a lucky position work wise and perhaps I have not felt the full hit of the British recession. However, taking a lunchtime walk today in the town where I work was an eye opener. The crude sign this corner shop has advertising that is it "now selling newspapers" looked to me like something from decades ago. It reminds me that businesses are stuggling and we have a way to go to see positive change in this country.
