new horizons....blue horizons!

early night as whacked after long walk yesterday. the boy was well whacked too.

up at 7.30am, couple of cuppas and we're good to go. glorious blue sky this morning, not a cloud to be seen, can't wait to embrace the day!

visit to M&S and food shopping done. then off for a long long walk meeting Lorraine & Albert at Felley. walked for over 2 hours. was v cold at the top of Felley when i took this photo. from here you can see Underwood Church, Crich in the distance, and Mrs Kirk said Blue John too. it was so clear, could see for miles.

Pete and Alb loved the walk and both in need of a bath afterwards. homeward bound and nipped to wood yard for some firewood for me and mum.

home, bathed Pete, fire made, and then household cleaning chores before being able to chill with a well deserved glass of chianti! glorious sunset to finish off the day.
