And a Crop in the field
After a day of screen staring and counting, I stopped at 1630 and went with Si to the Allotment - he had to fill the water tanks - Monday Tuesday Thursday and Sunday.
It wasn't bad - there was only about 1/8 out of all of them - twenty minutes job tops.
Si had lifted the rotted wood, which has made our wee deck area - we bought the fake grass for the area and we were delighted to see that the ground underneath was still pretty firm and clean.
A layer of black and it will good as new and the grasstroturf will sit lovely. :-)
Did notice though that wasps were zooming in and out of a hole under the fence - so we'll have to make sure they are cleared.
It's amazing when the allotment looks like this - it seems to happen every so suddenly!
It's so amazing, and such a joy to watch.
You can see from left front clockwise.
Brussels, (and a cabbage we thinkg), potatoes, pear tree, carrot boxes, peas, cauliflowers, more potatoes, raspberries, sweetcorn, cherries, brocolli, onions, garlic, shallots, and sunflowers.
Just love our wee patch.
