Looking up

Very frustratingly, the closest I was able to get to the Oxford protest against the statue of Cecil Rhodes (NB, apartheid Rhodesia), still standing outside Oriel College in the High Street, was hearing and watching this police hornet in the sky. There were many protests about this statue four years ago but students moved on and everything faded. I am enormously relieved that we are re-evaluating the representations we put on pedestals and look up to.
