Timberrrrrrr

After doing the decking, we noticed a few branches overhanging from the garden that backs onto ours.
She’s not someone we ever see but hear her yapping dog every day , but when we called round to ask if it was ok to do a little pruning, she remembered me from a few years ago, when I’d helped her husband after he fell out of his wheelchair.
‘Chop what you want’ was the brief, which was good news for us.
However, once we’d done the bits we wanted, Mr A noticed a couple of big branches overhanging her patio. So off I went again to ask if she wanted them lopping while we had the ladder & saw out.
She was delighted! She said after we’d called yesterday, she went to inspect the offending tree and was surprised how overgrown it was.
Branches duly chopped and not only did it immediately brighten her patio, it let loads more light into our garden too. Which made a nice photo for my blip today.
Good deed for the day. Done!
