Roses

The first roses I picked the other day are still in good shape so, as promised, a blip.

A grey wet day so lots of tidying in the house but only after the trip to the recycling centre which went very smoothly. Had to book and give car registration number in advance. Everyone very helpful. It can’t go back for a fortnight.

Afterwards made a trip to Clerk Street to the Wee Boulangerie for some freshly baked (and still warm) country style baguettes - see extra. A real taste of France so lunch and dinner sorted.

A zoom meeting of the garden and craft club caused me some difficulties as host but eventually got it sorted and we had a useful discussion about a virtual show as we have cancelled this year’s.
