Evening walk with Jenny who is doing the 100 km in June challenge for breast cancer . We walked up to the railway station which hasn’t seen a train since end of March. We just had to walk down on the track ! Basil poses nicely by the poppies that would never flower this long usually with the trains passing .
We walked and talked for an hour and had a fine old catch up .
Hosepipe ban has started so we used the watering cans, it’s was fine but would like to speed up the process . We will get plastic dustbins and have them by the tap filling as we go . Now we have all this veg growing we are slaves to it !
