Robin. This robin box has been in situ for about four years now and each year a few leaves are deposited in the base of the box. This year without us knowing a full nest has been built and we think used by our local robin and that’s the young robin from the nest we have seen popping around in the front garden.
I picked my first cucumber today, they are a small variety about six inches. I was amazed how crunchy it was.
It rained overnight and we have had steady rain throughout the day, hurrah.
