Venturing a little further

Another rainy day and another reason to go out.

A dear friend, Esther, whom we’ve known the entire time we’ve been in Hong Kong, will be leaving next month with her family. They have been very good friends and we have served together often in church.

She and I co-lead the Friday Bible Study group since Merrilee’s departure. And so on behalf of the women in church and Friday group, a few of us went to procure a farewell gift.

We went to Tung Chung and found what we thought to be a perfect gift for her. Hope she likes it.

My friends and I then stopped for a coffee and here is my delicious cup.

Felt a bit exhausted after all that as I haven’t been out and about for three weeks since the surgery.
