Quince Jelly in the making

Today was the day for making quince jelly. Since the last time I made it I have invested in a jelly bag, which makes this stage much easier and quicker, as well as allowing much more liquid to drain out than when using a tea towel. My daughter, Sarah and her boyfriend, Scott came to visit from Glasgow and Scott helped out with the mashing and straining. Fortunately Unfortunately, they had to leave before the jelly was completed so they couldn't take any with them (he he).

Tomorrow I will boil up the liquid and make the quince jelly. This time I will use lots of small jars I have been collecting so I will have jars to give to friends.
