Wonderful Wildlife Walk

(P.S. anyone else finding their main blip a bit blurry? Extras seem OK.)

.... after the rain, the clouds making everything so much more dramatic. The new snow with the clouds behind this chamois made it look like a waterfall behind him: all different forms of water. Even though I have been through this valley (see extra, especially for Trevor, Ros and Tony) dozens of times, every time it is different and produces surprises. Today we saw a female bouquetin with a young male from a great distance, very unusual in this valley. Many chamois and marmots were out and about, even a fox was hunting on one of the hillsides.

Returned home to more hedge cutting, aided and abetted by Preston who was covered in dead branches and leaves from the previous cutting. I wish I had taken a photo of him, he was really mucky!

Thanks so much for all the presents for yesterday's Hummingbird Hawk Moth in the rain. I am way behind with comments .... I seem to be saying that a lot recently!
