More Poppies

I cannot resist a nice poppy and todays meanderings that comprised our 5 mile exercise activity,  took us on a footpath through the Barley fields.  These few poppies obviously resisted the pre-emergence herbicide that sterilised the soil before the cereal crops were sown and now stand proudly swaying with the ripening barley.
