It was lovely to see the deer in the garden earlier, I think we surprised each other, but he did stay still long enough for me to get this and the extra of him.    I do like the extra of him sniffing the pheasant, but unfortunately it isn't as clear as this one.
It's been dull and overcast all day.   I've planted my dwarf beans out into the garden today and was surprised that just the first inch of soil was damp, the rain hasn't penetrated into the ground at all.
