A bigger bird

Whilst hovering around the back steps today I was surprised by the distant sound of a plane. It has been rare to hear the high flying jets since the lockdown and travel restrictions. We are under a couple of flightpaths to North America so get occasional distant hums of high flying jets and occasionally a lower flying passenger plane circling to land, possibly at Bristol.

I even saw a couple of USAF Stealth bombers flying over the house when they were briefly stationed at RAF Fairford last year. When the noise increased today, I looked up and over the treetops and spotted this single engined G-POOH heading north-west for some unknown destination.
