A trip to Clints Quarry near Egremont today to see if I could find any Bee Orchids.  Haven't had any luck the last two years but was hopeful. Alas I didn't find any but I did chat to a lady who showed me a photo of one she'd taken on her phone at the end of June last year.  So I must try and remember to go back in a couple of weeks.  There were a few other orchids there... not sure if this one is a marsh orchid or a common spotted one.  Misty enjoyed a swim in the quarry, see extras.  Stopped off at another nature reserve on the way home hoping to see Butterfly Orchids but the gate into the field where I've seen them in the past was padlocked!  Just noticed that I was also at Clints Quarry exactly a year ago!
