Winter slants

My work is spread over 2 buildings. I popped next door this afternoon for a quick software discussion and a bonus blip as I headed back to the mothership.

It was so warm at work yesterday I wore shorts today. A marginal decision on my part.

Biking back to my car at the end of the motorway after work, I tailed a younger woman cyclist. She used the same cycleway as me for most of my trip. Of course I had to hang in there (all the time wishing she'd turn off).

I suspect she was as glad to turn off and not have me follow as I was to see her go. My final 500m was much more sedate.

Today's gratitude: For starting and finishing my day with a bike ride.
