Juxtaposition

Went to a pub in Kingswood today which had a Thai kitchen / restaurant which was blessed by Budhist monks. This particular monk I have met several times, so felt less inhibited in taking his photograph. I chose this picture for the texture of the alms bowl and its link to the Sunday roast board behind. At one point 3 monks were chanting whilst bemused locals slurped pints from the other end of the bar - brilliant!
