Tunnag eile/another duck

Another day, another duck, latha eile, tunnag eile. This one was sitting in a group of three in their usual place close to the wasteland cycle track on the White Cart water. I was attracted by their symmetry and the colours of this one in the middle. I hadn't really npticed the gradations of blues and greens before or the granulation of the feathers. Quite exquisite. 
I have temporary access to Amazon prime so I shifted my daily schedule to incorporate Wild Rose (loved the southside locations, one of which must surely have been a Pollokshields villa) and the adaption of Ian McEwan's The Children Act. Very satisfying.
