M.O.T day

I’ve brought Myfanwy to my childhood home. My parents ran this garage and petrol station from 1966 to 1977. It was my home for the first 11 years of my life. It’s changed a bit ... The MOT station is pretty much where dad put up a double swing, one each for me and my little brother. I’m now sitting in the waiting room where I can stare across and up to the window that my bed was beneath. I lay reading there at night until the sky got too dark for me to see. I was supposed to be sleeping, which is probably why I never asked for a bedside lamp!
