Dripping wet...

... just sums up the day.

I spent the first part of the day on domestic duties - sorting, tidying, cleaning.

Then it was time to get blipping - in the constant rain.

The leaf was on an un-named plant in the Japanese Garden, in Harrogate Valley Gardens. Blip sorted - or so I thought.

I wasn't reckoning on, what turned out to be, a lengthy Microsoft update. Another hour wasted.

I cannot understand why you get no warning from these major companies like Microsoft and Adobe. You just suddenly find nothing will work as it normally does. In frustration you manage to shut the PC down for a re-boot. It is at the restart point when you find a message that tells you not to switch off because of an update. At which point, you might as well go for a lie down.

I am reluctant to say that everything is working again - because who knows what will need updating next, because it depends on whatever Windows has changed. Such fun! Sorry about the moan.
